SKINOVA
A device-based skincare studio in Žilina, run by one person. I built a website where clients book their own appointments, and an admin panel that keeps every appointment in one place.

The brief
The offer rests on two pillars: laser treatments such as tattoo or permanent make-up removal, and skincare in four protocols, each in three variants.
The variants take 45, 60 or 75 minutes. Booking has to account for that, or the system offers a slot the treatment does not fit into and appointments overlap.
What I built
A website in Slovak and English with a price list, a treatment cost calculator, a comparison of technologies and answers to common questions.
Booking that knows the length of every service and the studio's opening hours, and offers only slots that are genuinely free. After booking, a confirmation goes to the client and a notice to the studio, from a verified domain so neither lands in spam.
An admin panel with the service catalogue, an overview of appointments and a form for entering bookings taken by phone. Login is protected by an attempt limit, and the database is backed up every day, encrypted and stored outside the hosting.
Two decisions worth explaining
A phone booking belongs in the same calendar
At first a booking taken by phone could not be entered, so the system did not know about it and offered the same slot to the next client. A form now records it straight away as confirmed and, if needed, sends the client the same confirmation as an online booking.
Personal data has an expiry date
Name, phone and email from a booking are removed after a year, while the date, time and service remain. The studio keeps its operating history and still does what its privacy notice promises.
